Arizona · Generational Family Films
Turn a lifetime of stories into a legacy they will leave behind.
Generational films for Arizona families — crafted by an Emmy-winning photojournalist.
Why we do this
Some stories are too rich to be left to memory alone.
Your parents’ laughter, the way your dad tells the story of his first job, the wisdom your grandmother shared over Sunday dinner — these aren’t just moments. They are the foundation of who you are.
Memory fades, but a story told well lasts forever. We don’t just record interviews; we craft cinematic tributes that honor the depth, humor, and resilience of a life fully lived. This is the film your children will watch to understand where they came from.

Published prices. Nothing hidden.
Most studios in this space hide their pricing behind a sales call. We don’t.
A focused, intimate conversation. Right for capturing a specific milestone or a short, heartfelt tribute — a single afternoon of storytelling, polished and ready to share.
Start with the PortraitThe definitive life story. A full-hour cinematic interview with professional lighting and sound. We guide them through the defining moments of their life, creating a narrative that feels like a chapter in a great novel.
Start with the ChapterThink of this as a personal mini-documentary. Dual-camera setup, archival photo integration, custom score, and a narrative arc crafted by an Emmy-credentialed filmmaker — turning a lifetime of experiences into a feature-length story. A historical record of your family’s heritage, designed to be passed down for generations.
Start with the ArchivePrices for East Valley and Phoenix metro. A travel fee may apply for shoots outside that range.
How it works
Four steps. Nothing complicated.
A free call. Who are we filming, why, and what matters most to capture.
We come to the subject. Lit, miked, two cameras — but quiet and unhurried. About 90 minutes.
Rough cut to you for review. Feedback round. Final polish with color, sound, and music.
HD master files, a web-friendly edit, and optional physical media. Yours to share with family forever.
A note, in plain English
A note on our journey.
We are currently selecting our first three “Founding Families” to launch this studio. In exchange for your partnership and the privilege of sharing your story with future clients, we will produce your film at cost.
We believe the best way to honor a life is to tell the truth about it. We’d rather build our reputation on the power of your story than on polished marketing.
Common questions
Answers before you ask.
What if we’re running out of time?
If time is of the essence due to health concerns, we prioritize your timeline immediately — we understand that some stories cannot wait. Most time-sensitive shoots happen within 7–14 days of the consult. Tell us on the inquiry form and we respond the same day, not the next.
What if the subject doesn’t want to sit that long?
We split the interview into shorter sessions — two 45-minute visits, or three shorter ones. The goal is a film that actually sounds like the person, not a fixed interview length.
How long until we get the finished film?
Four weeks for The Portrait, six for The Chapter, eight for The Archive. Rush timelines available when a milestone date is driving the project.
How do you handle the film itself — do we own it?
It belongs entirely to you. You receive high-definition master files, a web-ready edit for sharing with distant relatives, and a private streaming link. There are no subscriptions, no locks, and no expiration dates. This is your family’s history, owned by you forever.
