How it works
Four steps. Nothing complicated.
From the first conversation to the film in your inbox. Here’s what to expect, how long it takes, and what we’ll need from you.
Consult
A free call with Patrick. You talk about who the film is for, what you’d want to capture, and what’s going on in the family. He listens, asks a few sharp questions, and tells you honestly whether we’re the right studio. No fixed length — it takes as long as it takes.
Interview
Patrick comes to the subject. Their home, their care facility, wherever they’re most comfortable. Setup takes about 30 minutes; the interview runs 30, 60, or 90 minutes depending on your tier. It feels like a conversation, not a production. Patrick leads with open questions and follows where the stories go.
For longer interviews we can split across two visits if that works better. We never rush. Some of the best stories arrive in the last ten minutes.
Edit
Patrick edits every film himself. He’ll send you a rough cut with a private link for review. You watch it with the people who matter, note anything that should change, and send it back. He polishes, color-grades, lays music, and sends the final.
The Chapter and Archive tiers include one review round; the Archive includes two. If you send us old photos, letters, or clips, we’ll weave them through the film where they fit.
Deliver
You receive a HD master, a web-friendly edit for sharing, and a streaming link you can send to the whole family. Nothing locked behind a subscription. Nothing we can take away. The film belongs to you.
Rights & consent
The film is yours. Your privacy is yours.
Every subject signs a consent form before we press record. You own the finished film outright and can share it however you want. Patrick retains the right to use small excerpts (typically 10–30 seconds) for portfolio purposes, and you can opt out of that at no cost when we send the contract. Nothing ever goes on social media without your written OK.
